A guided jumpstart to reset your kitchen, habits, and mindset before week one
WHY FIRST? The guide recommends completing this reset before starting Section 1. It's designed to help you clear out what isn't serving you, build awareness, reduce friction, and create momentum — so the full planning system actually sticks.
What do you want to feel by the end of these 7 days? What do you want to leave behind?
1
Reset your kitchen
Throw away anything expired, stale, or no longer useful. Clear out leftovers that aren't serving you. Notice what you always buy but never use — and make space for the foods you actually want to build around.
2
Notice your default patterns
When do you tend to skip meals? When do you rely on caffeine instead of food? Notice what times of day feel most reactive, and what usually happens right before you make an impulse food choice.
3
Reduce friction
What makes healthy eating harder than it needs to be right now? Identify one or two things you could simplify. Focus on what you can have — not what's off limits.
4
Build your support system
What foods, tools, and backup options help you stay consistent? Focus on what you genuinely enjoy — your support system should include foods you actually like.
APPENDIX See the Nutrition Support Appendix for top protein and fiber go-to foods with grams per serving to help you build your list.
5
Create your go-to rhythm
What does a realistic, supportive week look like for you right now? Choose 2–3 habits that would make the biggest difference. Stop expecting the unrealistic version of yourself to show up.
6
Practice the reset mindset
Notice where you're most likely to make emotional food decisions. What support do you need when you're tired, stressed, or rushed? Choose one better choice to practice today.
7
Plan the next week
Review what worked, notice what felt easier, and decide what you want to repeat. You're ready to move into Section 1 and build your first full weekly plan.
